Ryan Bisgard
President

Ryan Bisgard currently serves as the President of the Watertown Shamrocks after her original appointment of Operations Manager in June of 2024 prior to start the Shamrocks inaugural season. Bisgard’s duties range from selling corporate sponsorships, arranging community partnerships, overseeing the Shamrocks front office and game day operations, as well as various other aspects of the organization. 

Bisgard is originally from Denver, CO. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She played NCAA DIII Women’s Ice Hockey for the Monarchs during her duration at King’s. In her free time, Bisgard helps coach the Watertown Lakers girls’ teams and enjoys spending time outdoors and attending concerts. 
 
 
 

Anne Hanson
Executive Vice President

Anne Hanson joins the Shamrocks in their inaugural year as their Vice President. A Watertown native, Hanson graduated from South Dakota State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

In addition to working for the Shamrocks, Anne owns a marketing consulting firm, the Original Marketing Group. Anne resides in Watertown with her husband, Greg, and their 4 children. In her free time, she enjoys time with family, hiking, and traveling.

 

 

Blake Theisen
Director of Broadcasting and Media

Blake Theisen joined the Shamrocks during their first season in 2024 as the Director of Broadcasting and Media. Most recently, Theisen spent the 2022-23 season with the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the USHL. Prior to his time in Dubuque, he served as the broadcaster for St. Cloud State University men’s hockey for two years along with various forms of freelance work covering Minnesota high school sports and junior hockey.

Theisen graduated from St. Cloud State in the spring of 2022 with a degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in creative media. At St Cloud State, he was the Sports and News Director for two years at the campuses radio station, KVSC. He is a native of St. Cloud, Minnesota.

During his free time, Theisen enjoys golfing, video games, and spending time with his girlfriend and two dogs.

 

 

Jenni Wirkus
Billet Coordinator

Jenni Wirkus serves as the Watertown Shamrocks Billet Coordinator. In her role, she serves as the bridge between the community of local families opening their homes to Shamrocks Players and the Shamrocks Hockey Operations staff.

As Billet Coordinator, Wirkus’ duties include arranging housing accommodations for players, handling questions and inquiries regarding new or existing billet experiences, and helping to coordinate player and family experiences outside of hockey.

Wirkus is a lifelong resident of Watertown and has raised four Watertown Laker Hockey players over the years. Hockey is her passion and she has been the South Dakota Amateur Hockey Executive Director for the last seven years. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and being able to play with her new granddaughter.

 

 

Sarah Cooper
Digital Content Intern

Sarah Cooper joins the Shamrocks as a 2025-2026 Digital Content Intern. In 2023, she started the club sports segment for the University of North Carolina Wilmington’s Seahawk Central Sports. She worked the 2024-25 season as a photography intern for the Seahawks’ ACHA/ACCHL hockey team. Cooper has experience in photography, video production, social media, journalism, and graphic design. 

Originally from Raleigh, NC, she graduated from UNCW. Cooper received her bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in professional writing. She studied journalism and linguistics. In her free time, she likes to get outdoors and read.

 

 

Lily Schutzenhofer
In-Arena Host Intern

Lily Schutzenhofer joins the Shamrocks as a 2025-2026 In-Arena Host Intern. Schutzenhofer has a variety of experience as a promotions team member, front office member, and PR and media team member. From the fall of 2024 to the spring of 2025, she was a part of the ECHL KC Mavericks in a dual role as a Street Team member and Broadcast Intern. Most recently, this summer of 2025, Schutzenhofer was a Promotions Intern for the American Association’s Kane County Cougars for the second summer in a row. 

 
Schutzenhofer is originally from Plainfield, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from the University of Kansas in the summer of 2025 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management and a minor in Journalism. During her time there, she was a reporter on the university’s award-winning sports show, Playmakers, a MMJ for the university’s news show KUJH, and a member of the University of Kansas Club Hockey Team’s Broadcast crew as a rinkside reporter. 
 
In her free time, Schutzenhofer enjoys watching all her Chicago sports teams and the Kansas Jayhawks, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

 

 

Kyle Narod
Broadcast Production Assistant Intern

Kyle Narod joins the Shamrocks for the 2025-26 season as the Broadcast Production Assistant Intern. This will be his second year in the NAHL, having previously worked as a Video Intern at the league level. Narod also worked as a Production Assistant for the 2025 Robertson Cup Playoffs. Most recently, he served as the Webcast/Press Box Supervisor for the St. Cloud Rox, a baseball team in the Northwoods League.

Narod is originally from Wappingers Falls, New York, but has been in the Midwest since August of 2021. He graduated from Clarkson University with a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and has a certificate in Sportscasting from Full Sail University. After working as a software developer for almost 5 years, he has transitioned into the world of sports and hasn’t looked back. During his free time, he can probably be found on a pickleball court or playing board/video games with friends.

 

 

Evan Liewer
Graphic Design Intern

Evan Liewer joins the Shamrocks as a 2025-2026 Graphic Design Intern. In 2022, Evan joined the North Dakota State Bison Athletic Program as a Graphic Design Intern, creating content for all NCAA sanctioned sports. Evan has experience in graphic design, Adobe Creative Cloud suite programs, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Social Media. 
 
Originally from Gretna, NE, Evan is now in his final year of his Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design and a Minor in Communications at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. In his free time Evan enjoys traveling, fishing, sports, running and time with friends.

 

 

Olivia Sherman

Olivia Sherman returns to the Shamrocks as the 2025–2026 Team Photographer. A senior at Watertown High School, Olivia has been capturing dynamic sports moments for the Shamrocks in their inaugural year through her photography account @pics.by.liv.26. Her work showcases a keen eye for action and a passion for storytelling through images.
 
Beyond the Shamrocks, Olivia has expanded her portfolio to include football, basketball, lacrosse, softball, and track and field photography, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to the craft. She also does family and individual and portrait photography work. Balancing her academic responsibilities with her role as a team photographer, Olivia continues to hone her skills and contribute to the vibrant spirit of the Shamrocks community.

 

 

Meredith Hanson
Administration and Game Ops Intern

Meredith Hanson returns to the Shamrocks as the 2025–2026 Administration & Game Operations Intern. A senior at Watertown High School, Meredith can usually be found with a smile at the will‑call window during games, assisting behind the scenes in the Puck Luck Lounge for group outings, and supporting various administrative tasks throughout the week in the front office. She brings reliability, professionalism, and a positive presence to each event.
 
Meredith is planning to pursue a degree in Sports Management in college, combining her experience with a passion for organization and hospitality.
