Ryan Gingher Announces Commitment to St. Norbert

Watertown, SD — Watertown Shamrocks forward Ryan Gingher announced his commitment today to continue his hockey and academic career at Division III St. Norbert collage.

Gingher, who was named the first captain in Shamrocks franchise history, feels like St. Norbert is a great fit for him.

“I was impressed with everything St. Norbert offers,” the Dublin, Ohio native said. “It’s a great fit for me academically and from a hockey standpoit. I’m excited to get there and be a part of the great culture they have there.”

The soon-to-be Green Knight has set all new career highs in scoring with Watertown this season – posting eight goals, 12 assists, and 20 points in 44 games. He was also recently named the North American Hockey League’s (NAHL) Top Prospects tournament in Plymouth, Michigan where he notched an assist in two games.

In his career, Gingher has appeared in 137 career games dating back to his NAHL debut in 2021-22 with the Janesville Jets. In addition to his stops in Janesville and Watertown, he’s also spent time with the Amarillo Wranglers and El Paso Rhinos.
