Watertown, SD — The Watertown Shamrocks have acquired forward Adam Timm in a trade with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs in exchange for future assets.
“Adam embodies everything we look for in a Shamrock,” said Head Coach and General Manager Casey Kirley. “He is a fierce competitor with a high end skillset. He plays the game hard and with passion. We are excited to add such a high-end player to our team.”
Timm, a native of Chetek Wisconsin, was nearly a point per game player last season for the Ice Dogs accumulating 19 goals and 35 assists totaling 54 points in 57 regular season games. He also brings a physical presence to the ice. Timm registered a team high 210 penalty minutes, which was also ranked inside the top 10 in the North American Hockey League (NAHL).
Before this season, Timm was coached by Kirley during the 2023-24 season with the Wisconsin Windigo for 28 games before he was traded to Fairbanks. He also spent a season in the NCDC with the New Jersey Rockets in 2022-23. His USHL rights belong to the Green Bay Gamblers who selected him in the 7th round, 121st overall, in the 2025 Phase 2 Draft.
Over his NAHL career, Timm has appeared in 103 regular season games scoring 28 goals and 83 total points and three playoff games registering two assists. He stands at 6’3″, weighs 185 lbs, is a 2005 birth year, and is a right shot.
