Watertown, SD — Watertown Shamrocks Head Coach and General Manager Casey Kirley announced today that the club has acquired forward Spencer Sasenbury from the Lone Star Brahmas in exchange for future considerations.
Sasenbury, a native of Fayetteville, NY, has spent the last two seasons with the Brahmas in the NAHL’s South Division. In 13 games this season, the 2004 born Forward has collected two assists while posting a +6 rating and only taking one penalty on the season. In his career, he has appeared in 41 regular season NAHL games and six playoff games, registering two goals and two assists while staying out of the penalty box (four career penalty minutes).
“Spencer adds more size and speed to our lineup,” Kirley said of the forward addition. “More importantly, he is a Robertson Cup champion (2024) and will add leadership and stability to our group.”
Sasenbury will not be available for the Shamrocks this weekend, but will be joining the team ahead of it’s home-and-home series with the St. Cloud Norsemen next week.
