FRIDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks defeated the North Iowa Bulls on Friday night at Mason City Arena in the twenty-first regular-season game of the 2025-26 season.

On Friday night, Watertown came out first with a goal by Zach Boren. His one-timer was scored at 6:56 of the first period, assisted by Kyle Greene and Owen Chartier. In the second, the Bulls evened the score on a power play. Drake Maresca, assisted by Zachary Howard and Parker Osborn, scored at 11:55. 

The Shamrocks then pulled ahead in the third period. Boren captured his second goal of the night at 18:08, assisted by Greene and Carter Sproule. The Shamrocks then secured two empty-net goals. At 2:12, Owen Fask, assisted by Justin Bartley and Justin Obrochta, made it 3-1. With less than a minute left, Grady Dimberio, assisted by Edvins Berzins and Erick Comstock, made the final score 4-1.

SATURDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks fell to the North Iowa Bulls on Saturday night at Mason City Arena in the twenty-second regular-season game of the 2025-26 season, snapping their four-game win streak.

The first period was quiet, ending in a 0-0 tie. The majority of the scoring came in the second period, with North Iowa striking first. At 16:57, Ivan Bercik, assisted by Denis Kuzmenkov and Denis Hodas, scored to make it 1-0. Shortly after at 12:49, Filip Rysz, assisted by Parker Osborn and Michael Malatino, put the Bulls up 2-0. At 8:42, Carter Sproule, assisted by Justin Bartley and Erick Comstock, converted on the power play to bring the Shamrocks into the scoring. At 6:54, the Bulls got another goal, but to end the period, Memphis Wilcox scored his first NAHL goal, assisted by Comstock and Payton Struck making it 3-2. 

In the third period, Owen Chartier tied things up at three, assisted by Jordan Gudridge and Wilcox. Despite a strong third period, with 45 seconds left, the Bulls’ Osborn, assisted by Bobby Thornton, put them on top to make the final score 4-3.
