FRIDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks fell to the Austin Bruins on Friday night at Riverside Arena in the twenty-third regular-season game of the 2025-26 season.
In the first period, Shamrocks’ goalie Aden Gariepy and Bruins’ goalie Cody Butikis held the game scoreless.
In the second period, Erick Comstock scored to put the Shamrocks on the board, with assists from Antons Macijevskis and Payon Struck. Shortly after at 4:35, Matsvei Marshchanok, assisted by Siamion Marshchankok and Nathan Williams, scored on the power play. With under a minute left, Kyle Greene, with Owen Chartier and Zach Boren, netted the final goal of the period to put the Shamrocks ahead 2-1.
Despite the Shamrocks’ effort, the Bruins scored four goals in the third, including two power play goals and an empty net goal for a final score of 2-5.

SATURDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks lost to the Austin Bruins on Saturday night at Riverside Arena in the twenty-fourth regular-season game of the 2025-26 season.
This low-scoring match was kicked off by Joe Rice, assisted by Jordan Gudridge and Zach Boren, on the power play.
In the second, at 4:47, Austin Doyle scored the first of two for the Bruins. Nathan Williams and JJ Franceschetti assisted on the goal to tie the game. With .03 seconds left and on the power play, Gavin Hruza, assisted by Williams and Siamion Marschchanok, put the Bruins on top.
Despite the Shamrocks’ 16 shots in the third, it was not enough to put them on top. Hzura netted an empty net goal with .18 seconds left to give the Bruins a 3-1 victory.
