Shamrocks Drop Pair to the Bobcats in Final Regular-season Matchup

FRIDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks fell to the Bismarck Bobcats on Friday night at VFW Sports Center in the forty-fifth regular-season game of the 2025-26 season.

The first period started with a quick goal from Bismarck at the 19:24 mark, scored by Frantisek Broz, assisted by Caden Bell and Eddie Revenig. At 3:44, Owen Chartier, assisted by Justin Obrochta and Owen Fask, tied the game at 1-1. Seconds later, Bismarck pulled ahead again to make it 1-2. 

The second period was all Bismarck, with three goals from two different goal scorers. Mark Evans scored a goal at 10:18 and 4:11 on the power play. Patch Cronin scored the middle goal at 8:00. 

In the third, Joe Rice scored at 11:57, assisted by Kyle Greene and Memphis Wilcox. At 2:56, Bismarck scored one more. In the final second, Greene scored the Shamrocks’ third goal, assisted by Andrew Smulkstys and Rice. Bismarck took this one 3-6.

SATURDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks dropped to the Bismarck Bobcats on Saturday night at VFW Sports Center in the forty-sixth regular-season game of the 2025-26 season.

Saturday was a much quieter game. The first goal was scored by Justin Obrochta, assisted by Jordan Gudridge and Payton Struck, on the power play. 

Both teams were held scoreless in the second period, with goalie Mason Gudridge stopping all 10 Bismarck shots. 

In the final seconds of the third period, Bismarck’s Theodore Richardson, assisted by Noah Ziskie and Eddie Revenig, scored the tying goal to send the game to overtime. 

At 2:42 into overtime, Theodore Richardson struck again, assisted by Noah Ziskie and Jimmy Dodig, to take this one 1-2.
