FRIDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks fell to the St. Cloud Norsemen on Friday night at St. Cloud Municipal Athletic Complex in the thirty-first regular-season game of the 2025-26 season.
The first period remained scoreless, with Shamrocks’ goalie Mason Gudridge holding off 11 shots.
The Shamrocks scored the first goal at 17:02 of the second period, with Edvins Berzins, assisted by Payton Struck and Antons Macijevskis. St. Cloud came back quickly, at 16:44, with a goal by Samuel Misak, assisted by Billy Biedermann and Sam Crane. Shamrocks’ Zach Boren, assisted by Ben Davis and Kyle Greene, put the Shamrocks back on top to end the period 2-1.
The third period was fought hard, with St. Cloud’s Sam Crane, assisted by Avry Shaw and William Esterbrooks, tying up the game on the power play. The game ended at 2-2, sending it to overtime.
No one scored in overtime, requiring a shootout to settle this game. Owen Chartier went first for the Shamrocks and was successful. The Norsemen were successful on their third and fifth tries for a 3-2 shootout win.

SATURDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks dropped to the St. Cloud Norsemen on Saturday night in Prairie Lakes Ice Arena in the thirty-second regular-season game of the 2025-26 season.
In the first period, Shamrocks’ Vincent Curasi, assisted by Joe Rice and Jakov Matijevic, put the Shamrocks up 1-0. The Norsemen came back strong to end the period with a goal at 5:43 from Gabe Gallivan and a goal at 4:57 from Wyatt Farrell.
At 7:37, Wyatt Farrell scored his second of the game to put the Norsemen up 3-1 in the third period. Less than a minute later, Jakov Matijevic, assisted by Sebastian Haborak and Memphis Wilcox, scored to put the Shamrocks within one.
In the third period, the Norsemen scored three power play goals to grab on to a 6-2 lead. At 2:49, Owen Fask gave the Shamrocks their third goal. The Norsemen pushed to win 7-3.
