Shamrocks Fall in Second NAHL Showcase Game Against Northeast Generals

FRIDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks lost to the Northeast Generals 2-5 on Friday afternoon at the NSC Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota, in their fourth regular season game of the 2025-26 season. 

To kick things off, forward Mason Grinnell, assisted by Justin Obrochta and Anton Macijevskis, put the Shamrocks up 1-0. The Generals had a goal that went under review, but ended up counting to a 1-1 score. Cole McKenna, assisted by Braydone Hudtloff and Spencer Hisch, at 1:30. The Generals’ Vinny Ipri, assisted by Kody Moyer and Cole McKenna, scored a buzzer-beater at .1 to end the period 1-2. 

At 12:14 in the second, the Generals’ Spencer Hirsch, assisted by Thomas Klochkov, made it 3-1. After this, the Shamrocks replaced goalie Ethan Phillips with Mason Gudridge. Despite seven shots on goal, the Shamrocks left the period scoreless. 

At 14:17 in the third, the Generals ‘ Alec Hall, assisted by Thomas Klochkov, scored to make it 4-1. On the power play, forward Junior Podein, assisted by Carter Sproule and Eric Comstock, cut the Generals’ lead to 4-2. At 2:59, Generals’ Kyle Murray-Smith, assisted by Stephen Fabino and Jaackson Rutherfod, secured the Generals’ win.
