Watertown, SD — The Watertown Shamrocks released their jam-packed 2025-26 promotional schedule on Monday. In total, the 2025-26 season will see 22 of 31 home games be promotional nights.
The preseason kicks off on September 5th against the Aberdeen Wings with our Season Kickoff party presented by The Sandbar. Fans can enjoy a free appetizer pregame at The Sandbar with the purchase of XXX when wearing their Shamrocks gear. Then to close out the preseason, Power 106 will be hosting ShamROCK night with a “rock-n-roll” vibe taking over the arena on September 13th.
To kick off the regular season, we welcome the Aberdeen Wings to town on September 20th in what is expected to be a capacity crowd.
Several fan favorites are also slated to return this season! The Farmers Union Insurance food drive and free jersey giveaway with the donation of a food item takes place on October 3rd. Teddy Bear Toss night will be held on November 21st against the Minnesota Mallards. And, once again, a St. Patrick’s Day game!
Speaking of St. Patrick’s Day, the Shamrocks will wear specialty jerseys on three occasions – Military Appreciation Night (November 21/22) against the Mallards, Guns and Hoses Weekend (January 9/10) against the Austin Bruins, and St. Patrick’s Days. Additionally, the team will be wearing their green road jerseys on January 23/24 when the North Iowa Bulls are in town.
