FRIDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks fell to the St. Cloud Norsemen on Friday night in Prairie Lakes Ice Arena in the fiftieth regular-season game of the 2025-26 season.
The Norsemen struck first on Friday night. Mate Tardi, assisted by Christian Garrity and Riley Fast, scored to make it 0-1.
In the second period, Owen Chartier, assisted by Owen Fask and Justin Obrochta, tied the game up 1-1. The Norsemen reclaimed the lead a few minutes later with a goal from Sam Crane, assisted by Avry Shaw and Griffin Strum. At the 8:00 minute mark of the second, Daniel Halonen, assisted by Justin Bartley and Fask, tied the game back up at 2-2.
The third period was scoreless for both teams, with goalie JJ Salajko stopping all nine Norsemen shots. This game was sent into overtime, then a shootout.
Both Chartier and Erick Comstock missed for the Shamrocks, and Riley Fast and Dante Rodriguez scored for the Norsemen, giving them the 2-3 victory.

SATURDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks were triumphant over the St. Cloud Norsemen on Saturday night in Prairie Lakes Ice Arena in the fifty-first regular-season game of the 2025-26 season.
In the first period, Zach Boren, assisted by Joe Rice and Owen Chartier, started the scoring for the Shamrocks on the power play. Shortly after, Greene, assisted by Andrew Smulkstys and Rice, put the Shamrocks up 2-0. The Norsemens’ Christian Garrity, assisted by Riley Fast and Mate Tardi, finished the period with a goal, to make it 2-1.
In the second period, both teams were scoreless.
In the third period, Greene, assisted by Boren and Smulkstys, got his second goal of the night. In the final minute, Payton Struck, assisted by Justin Bartley and Rice, capitalized on the empty net to make it 4-1 Shamrocks.
