FRIDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks defeated the North Iowa Bulls on Friday night in Prairie Lakes Ice Arena in the fifty-third regular-season game of the 2025-26 season.
On Friday night, Watertown scored in the first 16 seconds of play. Antons Macijevskis, assisted by Payton Struck and Edvins Berzins, put the Shamrocks up early. Later, Vitalit Korolyuk, assisted by Denis Kuzmenkov and Brayden Hughes, tied the game 1-1.
In the second period, Owen Fask, assisted by Justin Obrochta and Jordan Gudridge, scored the period’s only goal, making it 2-1.
The third period was quiet until the last two minutes. Kyle Greene, assisted by Joe Rice and Justin Bartley, secured the empty net goal. In the last two seconds, Denis Hodas, assisted by Denis Kuzmenkov and Michael Malatino tied to stage a comeback but were short. The Shamrocks took this one 3-2.

SATURDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks fell to the North Iowa Bulls on Saturday night in Prairie Lakes Ice Arena in the fifty-fourth regular-season game of the 2025-26 season.
The Bulls went up 0-3 in the first period from three different goal scorers. Michael Malatino, Zachary Howard, and Denis Hodas each had a goal.
In the second period, Denis Hodas, assisted by Brody Dietz and Zachary Howard, scored his second goal of the game to push the Bulls’ lead to four.
The third period started with Ivan Bercik, assisted by Brayden Hughes, scoring a short-handed goal. At 14:34, Owen Chartier, assisted by Zach Boren and Kyle Greene, put the Shamrocks on the board. At 6:20, Jake Pietila, assisted by Grady Dimberio and Brody Josselyn, got the Shamrocks’ second goal of the night. At 1:06, Jacob Voris, assisted by Ethan McKay and Marat Mikhin, scored to make the final score 2-6 Bulls.
