FRIDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks defeated the Aberdeen Wings on Friday night at Odde Ice Center in the thirty-ninth regular-season game of the 2025-26 season.
In the first period, Aberdeen scored the only goal at 11:34 by Jibber Kuhl, unassisted.
The second period was quiet until the last minute. At .19 in the period, Kyle Greene, assisted by Zach Boren and Justin Bartley, tied the game 1-1.
The third period has the most action all night. At 14:30, the Wings pulled ahead again with a goal from Owen Pitters, assisted by Brody Dustin and David Hruby. At 9:04, Bartley, assisted by Greene and Boren, scored on the Shamrocks power play. At 2:29, Kuhl got his second goal of the game, assisted by Matthew Martin and Easton Edwards. In the final second of the third, Greene, assisted by Joe Rice and Erick Comstock, scored the tying goal to send the game to overtime.
In overtime, Rice, assisted by Payton Struck and Jordan Gudridge, scored the game-winner to give the Shamrocks a 4-3 OT win.

SATURDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks captured a win over the Aberdeen Wings on Saturday night in Prairie Lakes Ice Arena in the fourtieth regular-season game of the 2025-26 season. This is the Shamrocks first series sweep over the Wings in franchise history.
Saturday night was all Shamrocks through three periods. Both teams were scoreless in the first period. Shamrocks’ goalie Mason Gudridge stopped 11 Wing’s shots.
In the second period, Zach Boren, assisted by Erick Comstock and Joe Rice, put the Shamrocks on the board 1-0.
In the third period, Owen Chartier, assisted by Comstock and Boren, scored on the power play to make it 2-0 Shamrocks. With .04 seconds on the clock, Justin Obrochta, assisted by Payton Struck and Justin Bartley, scored an empty net goal to make it 3-0 Shamrocks.
