Watertown, SD — The Watertown Shamrocks are thrilled to announce the signing of Ethan Sundvall to a tender agreement for the 2026-27 season.
Sundvall is a 6’0″, 192 lb, blue-liner from Hibbing, Minnesota. He is currently in his senior season of high school hockey in Minnesota playing for the Hibbing/Chisholm Blue Jackets.
“Ethan is a high-end dynamic defensemen,” Shamrocks head coach and general manager Casey Kirley said in a statement. “He’s a great skater, efficiently moves pucks, and drives offense from the back end.”
In 31 games last season, the 2007 born defensemen scored 12 goals and produced 42 points. This year, he start off this fall playing in the Minnesota High School Elite League where he was a point-per-game player. He also appeared in two games for the Minnesota Mallards earlier this season.
