Watertown Shamrocks Acquire Richman from Jackalopes

Watertown, SD — In a trade finalized on Tuesday morning, the Watertown Shamrocks have acquired forward James Richman from the Odessa Jackalopes in exchange for assets.

“James is a proven point producer in our league,” said General Manager and Head Coach Casey Kirley. “He has a high compete level, plays a responsible 200 foot game, and can play in a variety of situations.”

Richman, a 2005 born forward from Harvest, Alabama, has appeared in 104 career games for the Jackalopes over the past two seasons and early start of this year. He amassed 24 goals and 22 assists for 57 points in his first two years with Odessa while also racking up 185 penalty minutes across the two seasons.

In five games to start this season, Richman squared off against the Shamrocks during the Showcase, has an even rating and 17 penalty minutes.
