Watertown Shamrocks Fall to New Jersey Titans in Final NAHL Showcase Game.

SATURDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks drop the last game of the NAHL Showcase to the New Jersey Titans 3-4 on Saturday afternoon at the NSC Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota, in their fifth regular-season game of the 2025-26 season. 

At 14:54 of the first period, on the power play, the Titans struck first with a goal by Blake Jones, assisted by Nikolai Meshkantosov. The Shamrocks came back at 6:36 to score their own power play goal. Zach Boren buried one assisted by Junior Podein and Andrew Smulkstys to tie the game at one a piece. At 3:49, the Titans took a 2-1 lead with a goal by Ty Creech. 

At 19:45 in the second period, Titans’ Luke Matthews, assisted by Gerrit Lansing and Ryan Kowalsky, made the game 3-1. At 7:40, Generals’ Arseniy Zharikov,  assisted by Nikolas Doumas, scored. In the final minute of period two, Zach Boren netted his second power-play goal of the afternoon. Justin Bartley assisted him to make the game 4-2. 

In a quiet third period, with just over a minute left, Andrew Smulkstys, assisted by Junior Podein and Zach Boren, scored for the Shamrocks to make it 4-3. Despite a hard-fought third period, it was not enough to put the Shamrocks over the Titans. 

The Shamrocks went 1-2 during the NAHL Showcase.
