This is the fourth and final season matchup between the Shamrocks and Bruins. The Shamrocks won the season series 5-3.
FRIDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks defeated the Austin Bruins on Friday night in Prairie Lakes Ice Arena in the twenty-ninth regular-season game of the 2025-26 season.
The Shamrocks and Bruins were both held scoreless in the first period. Shamrocks’ goalie Mason Gudridge stopped 11 shots, and Bruins’ goalie Cody Butikis stopped 13 shots.
The scoring started at 16:18 in the second with Owen Chartier, assisted by Sebastian Haborak and Justin Bartley, to put the Shamrocks up 1-0. At 4:49, Payton Struck upped the Shamrocks’ lead with a goal, assisted by Edvins Berzins and Bartley. \
In the third, the Bruins got on the board at 17:53 on the power play. Nathan Williams, assisted by Siamion Marshchanok and EJ Paddington, made the score 2-1. At 13:41, Chartier scored his second of the game, knocking the water bottle right off the goal. Justin Obrochta and Bartley assisted him. At 6:41, S. Marshchankok, assisted by Matsvei Marshchanok and Zander Lipsett, tried to stage an Austin comeback but was unsuccessful. The Shamrocks closed this one out with a 3-2 victory.

SATURDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Watertown Shamrocks were victorious over the Austin Bruins on Saturday night in Prairie Lakes Ice Arena in the thirtieth regular-season game of the 2025-26 season.
New Shamrock, Sebastian Haborak, assisted by Joe Rice and Zach Boren, scored the Shamrocks’ first goal of the game at 17:00. At 13:32, Antons Macijevskis scored a short-handed Shamrocks goal, assisted by Payton Struck and Rice, giving the Shamrocks a quick 2-0 lead. At 11:50, the Bruins struck back with a goal from Andrew Leung, assisted by Michael Coleman and EJ Paddington.
The second period was scoreless for both teams. Shamrocks’ goalie Mason Gudridge stopped all 16 Bruins shots.
At 18:44 in the third, Nathan Williams, assisted by Gus Elbert and Siamion Marshchanok, scored his second goal of the weekend to tie the game at two. At 10:48, Justin Obrochta, assisted by Owen Fask and Memphis Wilcox, put the Shamrocks back on top. The Shamrocks held on to a 3-2 victory.
