Watertown, SD — The Watertown Shamrocks are pleased to announce that Cazimiro Carlson has signed an official tender agreement with the organization ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Carlson appeared in a pair of games this season for the Shamrocks as an affiliate player after concluding a prolific junior season for Rock Ridge High in the Minnesota State High School League. In his two games with the Shamrocks, Carlson logged an assist, one shot on goal, and an even rating.
“Caz plays with a high level of compete and intensity that is unmatched,” General Manager and Head Coach Casey Kirley said in a statement. “He’s responsible defensively, sees the ice well, and produces consistently on the offensive side. He played very well as an affiliate player for us this past season and we are excited to have the opportunity to watch him continue to grow.”
Carlson becomes the second Rock Ridge product to tender with the Shamrocks this week, joining his teammate Grady Dimberio who signed his tender on Monday. With Rock Ridge, Carlson appeared in 27 games this past season as a Junior. He registered 23 goals and 31 assists for 54 points, ranking second highest on the team in all three of the offensive categories.
The native of Virginia, Minnesota is 5’9″, 165 lbs and is a right-handed shooter. This offseason he announced his commitment to St. Cloud State University and was selected in the USHL Draft 151st overall by the Waterloo Black Hawks.
